Hemkunt Sahib Darshan Tour
Your Hemkunt Sahib journey begins from Amritsar. Early morning, our driver will pick you up from your location in a comfortable taxi or tempo traveller (depending on group size). Drive towards Haridwar/Rishikesh, covering scenic highways and holy stops en route. On arrival, check in at your hotel. In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar/Rishikesh.
After breakfast, drive towards Govindghat, the base point for the Hemkunt Sahib trek. The journey passes through Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag—where holy rivers meet. Our taxi/tempo traveller ensures a safe and smooth ride through the hilly terrain. On arrival, check into a hotel or guesthouse at Govindghat. Overnight stay here.
Post breakfast, start your trek towards Ghangaria, the base camp for Hemkunt Sahib. You can choose to trek (13 km) or hire a pony/palki. Luggage can be arranged via porters. Ghangaria is a beautiful village surrounded by greenery and serves as the resting point before the final ascent. Overnight stay at Ghangaria.
This is the most awaited day of the tour. Early morning, trek 6 km uphill to reach Hemkunt Sahib, located at an altitude of 4,329 m, surrounded by a serene glacial lake and snow-clad peaks. After offering prayers at the Gurudwara, spend some peaceful time before descending back to Ghangaria. Overnight stay in Ghangaria.
Trek back to Govindghat in the morning, where our taxi/tempo traveller will be waiting for you. From there, drive towards Rudraprayag or Srinagar for the night halt. This helps break the long journey while enjoying the Himalayan landscapes. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag/Srinagar.
After breakfast, continue your return journey by road. Reach Rishikesh/Haridwar by evening. Time for relaxation, shopping, or exploring the holy ghats. Overnight stay in Rishikesh/Haridwar.
Begin your return journey towards Amritsar. Travel comfortably in your pre-booked taxi or tempo traveller with halts for meals and relaxation. By late evening, arrive in Amritsar with divine memories of Hemkunt Sahib Darshan.
